From Cruise Port: Tauranga-Rotorua
The itinerary is down to you, decide what you want to do on the day or let us create a full itinerary including the destination and activities. Your driver/guide knows all the best places to visit, and can take you to places the larger cruise ship tours coaches cant visit.
You could combine a visit to Rotorua with the Hobbiton movie set tours, or go to the Waitomo Glow worm caves.
For that really special day out why note visit one of the world famous 6 star luxury lodges for a memorable lunch, such as Huka Lodge or Treetops.
Like the idea of a Private Tour but there are just a few of you, then why not share the costs, just place a message on our "Tour Share" facility to find others on your ship to join you. You will first need to Register and create a "My Cruise" account. You could also post on sites like Cruise Critic or FaceBook.

Instructions
- Please tell us what you what to do and where you want to visit if you can when booking a private tour vehicle, we can then prepare and agree with you the itinerary for the day.
Restrictions
- Note that the seating capacity will be reduced by 1 if you book an additional guide or a foreign language guide.
- We allow for visits to all destinations in Rotorua and also to the Hobbiton movie set in the tour charge. If you want to visit destinations such as the Waitomo glow worm caves or Lake Taupo there will be a $100 surcharge to cover our additional costs running costs.

Where can we do on the day?
When you meet the driver/guide at the port they will discuss with you what the options are. You may have already chosen what you want to do and they will then plan the day to suit.
What if we want to hire the minibus for a longer duration?
You may extend the hire period on the day if you wish, any additional time is charged at $100 per hour. Your driver will of course ensure you arrive back at the ship before it departs.
How far can we travel in the 8 hour period?
You can visit all the destinations in Rotorua and also the Hobbiton movie set. If you want to travel further there is a $100 surcharge payable, to locations such as Waitomo and Taupo.
Can you provide child seats if required?
Yes, we can hire child seats and booster seats if needed, these are charged at $25 per seat per day.
